Acoustic floor system: direct to timber joists

The Monodeck 32T & 37T acoustic floor systems are designed to reduce impact sound transmission through a timber joisted floor where both the floorboards and the ceiling have been removed.

Monodeck 32T consists of a layer of 10mm reconstituted ACF (Acoustic Chip Foam) bonded to 22mm V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard. Monodeck 37T consists of a layer of 15mm reconstituted ACF (Acoustic Chip Foam) bonded to 22mm V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard.

When installed as part of an Isomass approved separating floor construction, it enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010, 2013 and 2015.

To be used direct to joists for conversions, refurbishments, new build or listed buildings requiring minimal structural change with a new plasterboard or existing lath and plaster ceiling.
