Isomass have recently supplied acoustic flooring products for the prestigious conversion of a significant building in East Sussex. The building, a former hotel, has been transformed into luxurious seaside apartments, with all work performed to a very high standard.
Technical advice was provided to the builder in relation to the need to comply with Building Regulations (Approved Document E) under “Material Change of Use” requirements. As with any conversion of this type, compliance with both airborne & impact noise standards must be achieved.
As part of the total separating floor & ceiling construction, Isocheck Impact Mat 100 was used as a low-height increase solution for the proposed engineered wooden floor finishes, thus providing a highly effective resilient layer to otherwise noisy floors.
