(on request to technical@isomass.co.uk) as to the approximate area of panels required to treat a specific room based on the following criteria.
Room dimensions
Description of the existing surfaces within the room (ie plasterboard ceiling or wood block floor)
The function of the room (ie coffee shop or assembly hall)
This estimate would be calculated based on government guidance “Building Bulletin 93” but is not always followed to the letter because the internal surface area of the subject room may not offer the necessary available surface area.
In these circumstances Isomass will be able to offer alternative suggestions as to how to achieve the guidance or you may simply choose to apply less absorbsion than was suggested simply because you deemed it sufficient.
It can afterall be a subjective subject and can be enhanced with fabric covered furnishings or curtains.
